Most hen dos in Norwich end up in the same chain bars. Mr Postles’ Apothecary is an independent cocktail bar set in an 1820s apothecary, where the drinks come with a bit of theatre and the bride-to-be gets a story to tell.
Cocktail making for hen parties
Our cocktail making classes put your group behind the bar with one of Mr Postles’ favourite mixologists. Everyone gets a strawberry bellini on arrival, then learns to make their chosen classics and drink the results.

A daytime hen do
Starting early? Our bottomless brunch gives everyone 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks and their own charcuterie board, from £24.95 per person. It runs Thursday and Friday 12pm–6pm and Saturday 12pm–4pm.
Easy for the organiser
Every package has a fixed price per person, so you can send the group one number and split it straight away. Non-drinkers pay less, and classes suit groups of 8 to 30. Get in touch for anything bigger or smaller.
Potions made for the group chat
After the class, order from our list of Potions and watch them arrive:
- Fish Out of Water: gin and Chambord finished with dry ice
- Mr Postles Zombie: garnished with a flaming passion fruit
- Meringue Martini: meringue baked right there on the glass
- Pink Red Bull Elixir: lychee, Passoa and bubblegum, served smoking
