All roles can be applied to with no experience, however for bar & floor roles, experience is preferred. More importantly, we’re looking for the right person, as all training can be provided. 

The most important qualities we are looking for are:

  • Good work ethic – hard working, like to keep busy & enjoy the buzz from a busy shift!
  • Team spirit – great working as part of a team and having respect for each other.
  • Enthusiasm – love our food & drinks, and pass this on to the customer through great service.
  • Positive attitude – working with us should be fun, we don’t want bad vibes!

All shifts have start / finishing times are flexible depending on the candidate, with the majority of staff shifts being fixed once you’re fully trained. Working hours and shift days shown below are a minimum and maximum for each role. This is to be more flexible for more people, once you’re fully trained your hours will remain pretty fixed (unless you need to change them).

We try to keep the majority of people on a 4 day week to maximise a good work / life balance.

Pay is weekly, so no waiting ages for payments!

Cocktail Bartender – The face of Mr Postles are our cocktail bartenders! A high energy and fast-paced role, this is perfect for someone looking to progress their bartending and cocktail making abilities.

10 – 40 hours per week across 2 – 5 days; flexible depending on the candidate. 
Shifts will generally start / finish anywhere between midday and 3am.

Kitchen Porter & Assistant – Predominantly controlling the cleaning and washing up of the kitchen area, however there is scope for this to include food preparation and further kitchen progression.

15 – 35 hours per week across 3 – 5 days; flexible depending on the candidate. 
Shifts will generally start / finish anywhere between midday and 10pm.

Bar Support & Glass Collectors – The most important role on the bar, keeping the bartenders stocked and organised to maximise sales. Bar support includes everything from fruit preparation to keeping stock levels correct, to keeping glasses collected & washed during busy service.

Progression to cocktail bartender is quickly available through this role.

10 – 35 hours per week across 1 – 5 days; flexible depending on the candidate. 
Shifts will generally start / finish anywhere between 4pm and 3am.

Restaurant Floor Staff – Our food may be casual, but our busy restaurant area needs the best service going. Engaging with customers and being enthusiastic about our food and drinks are the most important elements here – the rest we can train! 

10 – 35 hours per week across 2 – 4 days; flexible depending on the candidate. 
Shifts will generally start / finish anywhere between midday and 10pm.
